Event Details

This class runs 6:30-9:00pm on Tuesday March 2nd, and Thursday March 4th.

In this 5 hour workshop, you will learn how to use a basic TIG welding equipment setup to create a quality weld bead on aluminum.

Welding is the process of fusing materials together. "TIG" stands for "Tungsten Inert Gas." Other names for TIG include Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) and Heliarc. TIG welding can be used for a wide variety of different metals, and can produce a very pure, precise, and attractive weld with extensive practice.

Take this class in conjunction with the metal annodizing workshop in March and learn how to color your metal. Members of this class get a 20% discount in the metal annodizing class.
